Accelerant
Accelerant, formally known as nTeraction, is a proprietary live-combat larp rules set used in the USA. It is largely used by the New England larp community. It is developed and owned by Robert Ciccolini.
The core rules provide a framework for live-combat games, using low global hit points ("vitality") and ablative armour. They also define a broad range of verbal calls to convey effects, with the aim of providing a universal and logical schema which is useable across different settings. The core rules do not define races, classes, skills, or advancement systems; instead these are customised by different games, and their effects described through the universal effects system.
The Accelerant rules are used by more than a dozen larps across the USA, including:
- Clockwork Skies
- Crossover
- Fifth Gate
- Madrigal
- Numina
- Occam's Razor
- Shadowvale
- Tales from the Cotting House
- Threshold
