Founded in 1981, the International Fantasy Gaming Society (IFGS) is a non-profit organization that produces fantasy LARP events and campaigns. The first IFGS event was held in the summer of 1981 in the Boulder area. The name of the organization derives from the Dream Park novels of Larry Niven and Steven Barnes, in which a futuristic theme park provides realistic role-playing adventures. The name is used with the authors' permission.

The IFGS is organized into several local chapters. At the time of writing, six official chapters appear to exist: Atlanta, Dallas, Denver/Boulder, Oklahoma, Pacific Northwest, and Wisconsin.

The IFGS ruleset is currently in its 7th edition.
