Ricegame: The Dark Gambit is a story-based live action role playing game of intrigue, deceit, and corruption featuring normal mortals mixed vampires, werewolves and sorcerers in a dark and horrific version of modern-day Houston inspired by White Wolf's World of Darkness.
Game history
The Ricegame began in 1992 in a small one-bedroom apartment in the Woodlands, Texas and relocated to Rice University shortly thereafter. The newly-christened Ricegame quickly became one of the best-known live action games in the Houston area. The first Ricegame chronicle City of Deceit ran for seven years until replaced by The Dark Gambit in October 1999-2001.
