PoRtaL is an international larp theory convention in southeastern Europe. It is held every February or March, with the location moving from country to country. The name signifies the organisers' desire to connect larpers across the region regardless of preferred style - "P for Play, R for RPG, L for Larp".
The conference typically includes presentations of current and upcoming larps, discussions of larp theory, workshops on crafting and larp techniques, and presentations on the state of larp across the region. It does not publish a book.
