Kill moratorium

A kill moratorium is a pacing mechanic which operates by prohibiting character death before an arbitrary point in a larp. For example, a rule that characters can not die before the final hour of a three-hour game.[1] They are often used in theatre-style larps which permit character death to ensure that players have a meaningful opportunity to play and that plotlines have a chance to be introduced.
