Finger-flings

Finger-flings are a mechanic used as an alternative to dice in Rules to Live By:
A finger fling is a simpler version of rock-paper-scissors. The two opponents count to 3, and then hold out either 1 or 2 fingers. (That’s, “One, Two, Three, Shoot,”) The challenger wins if the two players are holding out the same number of fingers. If the two players are holding out different numbers of fingers, the challenger loses.[1]
Rules to Live By used multiple flings to represent the difficulty of a challenge.
