Du Kannst Was Du Darstellen Kannst (DKWDDK) (German), literally "you can do what you can show", is a system used in some German and European larps. Characters can do whatever they can credibly portray or can convince others that they can do. For example, instead of using specific calls for supernatural effects, they are portrayed theatrically. Instead of calling "force wall!" to keep an enemy at bay, a player playing a wizard would do something like Gandalf's speech on Bridge of Khazud-Dum: "I am a servant of the Secret Fire, wielder of the Flame of Anor. The dark fire will not avail you, Flame of Udun! Go back to the shadow. You shall not pass!"[1]

While phrased as a rule on the portraying character, the actual rule is on those watching, and is "react appropriately to what other people are portraying". Or, in shorter form, "go with it". If someone portrays magic, go with it (though possibly magic is unreliable and possibly the spell worked differently). If you are struck by a weapon, act injured. If someone hits you with a powerful blow, stagger. If a blow seems like it should kill you, die. And if someone doesn't react quite as expected to the actions you are portraying, go with that too.[1]

The system relies heavily on player honesty and collaboration.
