Gen Con is a gaming convention -- the largest such in the US, with a (as of 2017, capped) population of around 60,000.
While Gencon is far from a LARP convention, it hosts a large number of larps from many different larp commuities, as well as the unique to Gencon True Dungeon, a larp-like fantasy game which uses shuffleboard-style as well as larp mechanics and boasts being Gencon's best-attended event.
