Starship Valkyrie is a theater-style LARP campaign set on the eponymous space ship and in and around its associated science fiction universe.
Setting
Starship Valkyrie takes place in the 22nd century, primarily focused on the activities of the Earth Republic Star Navy. Most events take place in a continuing campaign history.
Game history
Christian Brown debuted Starship Valkyrie as one of the Live Game Labs events at the first Wyrdcon in 2010. Encouraged by its successful reception at the convention, Brown founded Real Good Game Company to continue Starship Valkyrie as an ongoing science fiction LARP campaign. Dozens of Starship Valkyrie events have occurred since the launch as a campaign, and the game remains active.
An updated version of the rules was funded via Kickstarter in 2012.[1]
