Player vs. Player or PvP is a type of plot or conflict in which the players oppose each other.[1] Some games, such as fest larps or Mind's Eye Theatre Vampire: the Masquerade, are explicitly based around or expect high levels of PvP while other games discourage it. All battle games are inherently PvP. The amount of PvP in a given game is usually dependent on the player culture and themes of the game being played.
