Game history

The New England Roleplaying Organization (NERO International) is a live-action roleplaying (larp) group operating consistently since 1989. The game takes place in the fantasy world of Tyrra. Characters move freely between it's many local chapters.

The Pittsburgh Roleplaying Organization (PRO) is the Southwestern Pennsylvania chapter of NERO. PRO was founded in 1992 by Ken Courtney. From 2007-2011, the group was managed by Greg Brothers. Today the group is an official Non-Profit Organization in the state of Pennsylvania, and is managed by the Board of Directors

PRO is affiliated with the Boy Scouts of America, Explorer Post 741.
