==Game history==
This project was first conceived of by Desany in 2018, following her attendance at the G6 summit, a conference to share skills on larp-making run by the creators of [[Blackpowder and Bloodlines]]. After the success of the 2019 event, with Desany's permission and collaboration, other versions of the Hobbits Hoedown have been run in the US<ref>[https://www.instagram.com/p/CqiTC-qrtCI/?img_index=1 Hobbit's Hoedown: Meet the Crew]</ref>.
