For example, [[The Great Exhibition]] is set in 1851, but combines characters such as William Gladstone, Benjamin Disraeli, Robert E Lee, Sherlock Holmes, Nikola Tesla and Thomas Edison, spanning a period from 1850 - 1900. [[Flight of the Hindenburg]] combines historical and pulp characters aboard the zeppelin sometime after the &quot;War of the Worlds&quot; broadcast (1938) but before the election of Roosevelt to the US Presidency (1933).
