Summary

Movie stars, criminals, reporters, and others rub elbows and bend elbows at a speakeasy in Prohibition-Era Los Angeles.

Setting

"The game takes place at M. Beauregard’s, an imaginary speakeasy in the Los Angeles of 1928." Although many characters and situations were entirely fictional, there was an emphasis on historical accuracy in the overall milieu.

Additional Instance

The game was revised to run as an LGL event at the first Wyrdcon under the variant title M. Beauregard's Hollywood Speakeasy, and with slightly different rules. Convention Guest-of-Honor Larry Niven (co-author of Dream Park) played in the game.
