Betrothals and Betrayals is a 13-player theatre-style regency fantasy larp inspired by the works of Jane Austen and Susanna Clarke. It has been widely run, with ten runs reported from New Zealand, South Africa and the USA.[1] The game uses a variant of the verily mechanic to represent supernatural effects without breaking immersion, using the keyword "glamour".
